James "Buster" Davis (born October 20, 1983) is a former American football linebacker. He was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the third round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Florida State. Davis has also been a member of the Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans. Currently, Davis is a graduate assistant for the University of South Dakota football team, serving as a Linebackers Coach 〔http://www.usdcoyotes.com/sports/football/bio.asp?PLAYER_ID=3401〕 As of 2014, Davis is the football coach of the Atlantic High School football team in Port Orange, Florida, a few miles from his hometown of Daytona Beach. ==Early years== Buster Davis played for Mainland High School in Daytona Beach.
